Meet the Agent

Cascade Sotheby's International Realty

You deserve better than a one size fits all approach to your real estate needs. If you are looking for a cookie cutter real estate agent and you enjoy the big box store feel that comes with many brokerages, I might not be the broker for you. If, however, you enjoy creativity mixed with integrity all served with lots of intelligence, compassion, professionalism and humility, then I just might be the broker you're looking for.

I have been a Realtor since 2003 and a principal broker since 2006 and even owned a brokerage for roughly six years, so I have the experience to navigate even the most complex transactions. My business is 90% repeat and referral driven, which means I go all out for each and every client. Below is a sampling of just few testimonials I have been given over the years.

Testimonials:

"Jesse is hard working representative for anyone buying or selling a home and is definitely your advocate during the entire process. While always professional, he has an ability to keep things casual and stress free while making sure everything is taken care of in an efficient, straight forward manner. We have bought two homes and sold one home with Jesse and we will definitely work with him again if and when we decide it is time to look for our third home. We purchased our second home at the height of the market and it was a long, arduous affair, with multiple bidding wars, unpleasant sellers, and unending drama. Jesse was professional the entire time and handled the difficult sellers so we did not have to. I cannot say enough good things about Jesse Knight. Use him!" Tim Myers

Jesse is a professional, caring and focused Realtor who also happens to be incredibly likable and easy to work with. This last trait is often an overlooked aspect of a truly great Realtor, but considering the amount of time a buyer or seller may spend with this one person it is an important one. As a mortgage professional, I have had the pleasure of working on countless transactions with Jesse for more than ten years now. In a hectic market, I know that Jesse will be a calming influence and that the transactions we work on together will be smooth and on schedule. I appreciate who he is as a talented Realtor and genuine individual and so will you," Vince Kingston - Eagle Home Mortgage

"We purchased a house in 2013 with Jesse as our buyer's agent. He was fantastic - very receptive to our requests, quick to show us new listings, and on top of everything at every stage. He was able to negotiate a great deal for us. As an attorney, I have also used Jesse in a professional capacity, as well, and he has not let me down. I will rely on Jesse for any real estate transaction I may have in the future, both as a buyer or seller, and highly recommend him to other people," Erin Fitzgerald

"After going through a very painful ordeal while trying to buy our first house while living in another state, we were very concerned about finding the right real estate agent to work with when we moved to Portland. Our first experience was stressful, painful, and incredibly emotional to the point that we honestly considered not trying to buy another home. Upon the advice of a good friend who strongly suggested we contact Jesse promising that things would be very different with him on our team, we finally got up the courage to call him and enter the market again. We are so happy we did! Jesse met with us and patiently listened to our story and he was immediately empathetic and able to understand exactly where we were coming from. He helped put us in touch with a great mortgage broker and walked us through the entire process from start to finish. We are now the proud owners of our very first home and we simply could not be happier with the home or with the service Jesse provided. Years later we are still in contact and know that we will use him when it is time to sell our first home and buy our second home. Simply put, you are in good hands with Jesse Knight," Tassia Owen

  • Be a Strong Buyer in a Seller’s Market

If you have read my blog recently, you know I keep coming back to the same theme — it’s a seller’s market! The truth is it has been a seller’s market for a couple years now and that does not look like it’s changing anytime soon. There are a number of reasons why we are […]

The Pricing Vortex, Buyer Psychology, and Pricing a Home Right

Pricing a home right is critical to selling it quickly and for the best possible price.  That sounds self-explanatory, but far too often home owners fall into the trap of overpricing their homes to build in some perceived wiggle room for low offers.  While there is a certain logic their, in the end it is […]
